How to Place An Order Through Direct Tap
To ensure an order has gone through to Direct Tap's Camelot system you will want to check for a Camelot ID number, which can be found within the Shipments Tab within the order.
If there is a Camelot ID number, this means the order is has successfully moved through to the Camelot system.
If there is no Camelot ID number, this means the order is not yet in the Camelot system. Depending on the queue, a little delay may be normal, but if an order has no Camelot ID after a few hours, please send us a note at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can look into what is delaying the order from going through.
💡 In this situation - if it the matter is urgent, you can download the Doc60 and send the order directly to Direct Tap to avoid waiting on the order to be sent through the system. We will still resolve what caused the delay, but in the meantime there is no hold up on the order being processed.
Shipment History & Status
While an order is AWAITING SHIPMENT, the status of the order will be PENDING. This means Direct Tap has yet to start picking the order (but so long as there is a Camelot ID number, it is in their system):
Once Direct Tap starts pulling the order, the status will be updated to PICKED and the order is in the process of being SHIPPED:
Lastly, Direct Tap will mark the order as DELIVERED and the status will read RECEIVED. Note Direct Tap will mark an order as DELIVERED as soon as the order is picked, so this status includes all orders in the process of being delivered, already delivered and in some cases, a delivery has been attempted, but failed.
Support Note: Direct Tap has full control over the updates of the various status (there is no manual way for a user or Ollie Order to override the status Direct Tap currently has the order in. As such, any requests for status updates, delivery confirmation, or general status questions should be directed to Direct Tap support.
Order Page Status
When you are on the order page index, you can get a snapshot of the general status of an order. For full details (especially if you see an order stalled in Awaiting Shipment status for longer than usual), you'll want to click on the order and head to the Shipment tab for a greater understanding of where the order is. But at a glance, this is what you will see from the order page:
AWAITING SHIPMENT means an order has been ACCEPTED and SHIP TO DT has been selected within the order.
SHIPPED means Direct Tap has picked the product and is ready for delivery.
DELIVERED means the order on route, has been delivered or a delivery has been attempted.
COMPLETED means the order is delivered and the paid.
