Transferring beer
Transferring of your beer can be accomplished by following the following steps:
- Locate the tank that you want to transfer from
- Click on the name of the tank and choose "Transfer"
- Enter the details of the transfer
- Click "Transfer"

How much beer was left in the tank after this operation was completed? If there is only trub remaining and you are planning on dumping it, this should be zero. If this is set to 0, the tank will automatically be marked as empty and dirty.

The tank that you will be transferring to.

How much beer was in the receiving tank after this operation was completed?
Automatic loss calculations
When transferring your beer the system calculates and tracks your losses automatically for reporting/accounting purposes.
For example:
Transferring into an empty tank from a tank that contains 7bbls of beer. The following input would calculate a loss of 1bbl.
