Updating Inventory Details
You are allowed to adjust some details of your inventory after it has been entered into the system by lot.
- Click on the item you want to update
- In the resulting list find the lot that you want to update, open the action menu and select "Edit"
- Here you can adjust the details of the specific lot
- Note that adjusting the pricing for this inventory item will automatically adjust your costs for batches and finished goods for any batches that were brewed using this inventory item
Making Adjustments
Sometimes it may be necessary to make adjustments to a particular inventory item due to waste, loss, etc.
- Click on the item you want to update
- In the resulting list find the lot that you want to update, open the action menu and select "Adjust Inventory"
- Fill out the form for adding this inventory
- Adjustment type (required)
- Select either "Add" or "Remove" depending if you are adding or removing inventory
- Amount (required)
- The amount you are adjusting up or down your inventory
Keep in mind that when adding or removing inventory via this form that the units are always "each", not in the units that you see on the aggregated inventory page. I.E. if you have an item that has 100 items per box, you will see x number of "boxes" on the inventory page. If you would like to remove 1/2 box from inventory you will need to make the amount 50 in order to remove 1/2 box.
- The amount you are adjusting up or down your inventory
- Notes (optional)
- Any additional information you want to capture regarding this adjustment
- Click "Save" to save your changes
- Adjustment type (required)
