Tracking your taxable production and generating your quarterly TTB tax reports has never been easier! Ollie Ops tracks your taxable production and will automatically generate your TTB report in a PDF format.
Setting up Tax Determined Volume
Ollie Ops tracks your taxable production in several ways:
- PRODUCTION VOLUME - When your beer volume is reported at the time of production in a tax determined tank or when beer is first transferred from a non tax-determined tank to a tax-determined tank, you’ll mark your tanks as tax determined when creating them or when editing them from the dashboard.
- PACKAGING VOLUME - When beer volume is reported at the time of packaging you’ll mark the packaging run as tax determined. You can set your packaging runs to be automatically tax determined in your brewery settings by checking the box below.
OR
You can choose to select Tax Determined while recording your packaging run.
WATCH OUT!!
A common mistake that can be made is marking a tank as tax determined and then also marking a packaging run out of the same tank as tax determined. This will result in the same volume of beer being counted as taxable twice, so be careful!
TTB Reporting
To download a PDF copy of your TTB Report follow these easy steps:
- Click the “Reports” tab on the left side of the Dashboard
- Select the “Tax” tab
- Select the quarter you are filing
- Here your TTB report is displayed, scroll down to the bottom and select “Save and create PDF”
Remember to check your work:
To see if a packaging run of a batch was tax determined, you can go to Batches > Select the name of the batch you want to view > Select the “Packaging” Tab > determine if the “Taxable?” box should be checked or not.
If this box is checked off, this volume is being reported to the quarterly TTB report. If the box is empty, then this packaged volume is not being reported.
