Ollie Order allows you to connect with a handful of different payment gateways! You must have a payment gateway connected in order to charge credit cards. You can still apply offline payments (check/cash) to an order without connecting a gateway - but if you want to charge a credit card, you must have a gateway connected.
No matter which gateway you choose, you can rest easy knowing that your customers' cards are stored securely 🔐 All credit card numbers that are entered into Ollie are immediately encrypted and stored in a secure vault called Spreedly. Spreedly then provides your payment gateway with a payment token representing the card so that you can charge the card and maintain strict security. No one who uses Ollie, not even Ollie team members, can access full credit card numbers once they've been added. Learn more about Spreedly and Security.
Ollie currently supports the following gateways:
To set up your payment gateway, head to your SETTINGS page and click on Payments & Financial:
Scroll down and you will see the option to connect a gateway, along with any existing gateways you may have already connected. This is also where you can select your default gateway if you change providers, for instance.
Under the Add New Gateway section, you can choose your gateway under the Gateway dropdown.
Each gateway will ask for different requirements. These settings can be found in your gateway provider's merchant account.
Note: Ollie does not have access to this information so you must enter it.
Authorize.Net
Authorize.Net accounts support a wide range of payment processors. Please see their website for a complete list. Once you have set up your account on Authorize.Net, you will need the following information from your account to connect to Ollie:
More here on how to obtain the API Login ID and Transaction Key.
Bambora (Beanstream)
If you have a Bambora/Beanstream account, you may need to reconfigure your merchant account through your Bambora online portal to ensure that you turn off full addresses and CVV/CVD requirements. If you have these restrictions turned on, you will not be able to process payments.
Elavon
To add Elavon, select it from the drop-down list and add in Merchant, User and Pin information and then click Add Gateway.
Moneris
If you have a Moneris account, you will have to reconfigure your merchant account through your Moneris online portal to ensure that you have turned off the CVV/CVD requirements. If you have these restrictions turned on, you will not be able to process payments. You will need your Moneris Store ID and API Token. These can be found in your merchant account.
Stripe
If you have your own Stripe account then you only need the API Key from your Stripe account to connect. You will need to use the Secret API key to setup this payment gateway.
Not sure what your API Key/Secret Key Is?
Note: If you are experiencing issues processing credit card payments, please reach out to your Gateway Provider first. Ollie Support has very limited support capabilities to troubleshoot payment processing issues as we do not have access to your merchant account.
