Orders in the delivered or completed status can be posted. Orders can be posted individually or via our batch actions feature on your Orders list.
How to Post Orders
There are two ways you can change an order to Posted Status:
Individually, Order by Order
When an order is Delivered or Completed (Delivered & Paid), you can open the order and hit POST in the top right hand corner. Once POSTED, you can UNPOST the same way if you need to reverse this action.
2. Batch Post
From the Delivered or Completed Order tabs, you can select multiple orders and BATCH POST them. All orders included within the batch can be found together within the Batch Tab and will also be updated on the main order index, appearing as POSTED.
Recommended Work Flow
Create orders for the week > batch mark delivered or completed orders as posted > from the post batch, click "generate reports" > download resulting LDB batch report & submit to LDB.
Important Note for Accounts Using Our QuickBooks Integration
Orders/invoices will ONLY be pushed into QuickBooks when they've moved into the posted status. As mentioned above, both completed (paid) and delivered (unpaid, partially paid, overpaid) can be posted. If you apply apply a payment to a posted order, the payment will automatically push into Quickbooks.
If you would like orders to upload without having to being Posted, you can change the default under Settings > Integrations > Quickbooks
Where can I see all my posted orders?
All orders can be seen on the main Order Index under the ALL column. Posted orders appear within a black box and say POSTED.
Why aren't my orders appearing in Quickbooks?
The default setting is for orders to sync to Quickbooks only once the status has changed to posted, so if an order is not in Quickbooks yet, it means the status has yet to be changed.
Can I refund/return orders in posted status?
Yes! You can still action returns and refunds.
Can I change my Quickbooks settings, so orders will sync before without being posted?
Yes, you can change the default under Settings > Integrations > Quickbooks
