Recording Log Data on Tank

Recording logs

You can record log data from your tanks by clicking on the tank name in the dashboard.

1. Click on the tank name

2. Click “Record Log Data”
3. Enter in the log date, current gravity, current temperature and pH
4. Notes/Custom fields - We ship with only a small set of attributes for logging on your batches. However, we know that some breweries like to track additional information. In order to accommodate each brewery's needs without affecting every brewery in the system we allow you to add custom fields to your logs through the custom field section. You can view the customer field notes under the fermentation log on your batch, as seen in the screenshot below.

5. Click "Save"

This data is recorded on the batch and can be viewed on the batch detail page. Recording daily log data will also update terminal gravity and also then calculate ABV & Attenuation.
