Package Types Setup

Do you package kegs, bottles, and cans (oh my)? Ollie Ops has options for all three! 

Package types allow you to create individual size options for each of your products. This ensures that Ollie Ops pulls the correct amount of volume from your tanks when you are packaging.

Getting Started

1. Navigate to the Product management page by clicking on "Settings" gear in the upper right menu
2. Click on "Package Types"
3. This will bring up the list of products

Adding Package Types

1. Select your package type, and then select the "New" button at the top right corner
2. Fill out the form
   
   1. Name
   2. Capacity
   3. Unit of measure
3. You may also add any packaging materials that might be generic to every product of that package type, such as 16oz Brite Cans, Lids, Trays, Keg Collars, Keg Caps, etc. That way this will pull every time you make a new product variant for this package type, and you can just add the product specific materials such as Labels, Print Cans, etc. as it pertains to each product.
4. Once that is all filled out, simply click "Save"

Updating Package Types

1. Click the menu icon next to the product you want to edit
2. Click "Edit"
3. Make any necessary changes in the fields provided 
4. Click "Save"

Deleting Package Types

1. Click the menu icon next to the product you want to edit
2. Select Disable 
3. A confirmation message will come up and you can either select "OK" to delete the package type, or "Cancel" to go back to the list
