Mash cookers and stills live on Producer Settings, not in the left nav. There is no left-nav item named Mash, Cookers, or Stills.
Path: avatar → Producer settings → tab Cookers & Stills (after distilling is on).
Mash Cookers
- Click New.
- Name. Kind (optional): Mash cooker (on-grain) or Mash tun (lautered). Cook capacity (optional).
- Save.
Row ⋮: Edit, Disable (you re-enable by using the same name). Empty: “You don't have any mash cookers! Click the New button to add one!”
A mash recipe can name a Default mash cooker. The fermentation run itself asks for a Fermenter, not a cooker.
Stills
- Click New.
- Name. Kind (optional): Pot, Column, or Hybrid. Charge capacity (optional).
Row ⋮: Edit, Delete — the label says Delete; the still is disabled so historical runs can keep the name. Empty: “You don't have any stills!”
Pro Tip: Add at least one cooker before you rely on mash recipes, and one still before you record a still run. The run can still pick the vessel on the day.
