Triggering Payments with Auto-Charge
For PaySmart eligible Orders where Auto-Charge is enabled on the buyer Payment Preferences, and the Order is in the status of Accepted, the process for triggering a payment is:
- Navigate to the Orders sub-tab in the side navigation.
- Click the Order Reference # to view the order details.
- At the top of the Order select Ship.
- Once marked as Shipped, the payment will begin processing through PaySmart on the order Payment Due Date. This due date is based on the Payment Terms set on the buyer profile.
- Note: With PaySmart, there is next-day ACH funding. Orders triggered before 8pm EST will be included in the following business day’s settlement. Funds are sent with instructions to the related user’s bank to deposit the money. After that point:
- The bank controls when the funds appear in the account.
- Most banks make funds available the same day.
- Some banks may wait until end-of-day or slightly longer.
- Note: With PaySmart, there is next-day ACH funding. Orders triggered before 8pm EST will be included in the following business day’s settlement. Funds are sent with instructions to the related user’s bank to deposit the money. After that point:
Triggering Payments Manually
Sellers in Ollie Order can manually trigger a payment for a PaySmart enabled Order at any point in time after the Order is marked as Accepted.
- Navigate to the Orders sub-tab in the side navigation.
- Click the Order Reference # to view the order details.
- On the Order, select Charge to manually trigger a payment through PaySmart.
- Select Bank Account and click Charge within the Summary to process the payment.
- Once the Charge is initiated the payment will begin processing through PaySmart on the order Payment Due Date. This due date is based on the Payment Terms set on the buyer profile.
- Note: With PaySmart, there is next-day ACH funding. Orders triggered before 8pm EST will be included in the following business day’s settlement. Funds are sent with instructions to the related user’s bank to deposit the money. After that point:

Viewing Payment Statuses
With PaySmart there are three Payment Statuses:
- Pending: Initial status prior to processing payment.
- Processing: Status once a payment is triggered.
- Paid: Status once a payment has settled.
Users can view the payment status by:
- Navigate to the Orders sub-tab in the side navigation.
- Click the Order Reference # to view the order details.
- At the top of the Order, select the Payments sub-tab.
- Review the Payment Details and click + to view the Transaction Information.
