PaySmart Portal User Permissions
When setting up a new user in the PaySmart portal, you’ll assign a user role and permission. Below is an overview of the available roles and permissions:
- Team Admin: The team admin role grants full access to the entire platform, giving these users the ability to change roles for each team member and manage company information, like branding, and editing. Additionally, only these users have the ability to manage website payment links and integrations with apps like API Keys.
- Full-Access: Full access users have nearly all the same functionality as the team admin but with restricted access to managing the team, company information and integrations.
- Staff: The staff role allows users to run charges and refunds/voids, view and search activity, invoices, customers and catalog items, but limits their access to proprietary dashboard activity, like total sales YTD or sales by month.
- Sales Staff: The sales staff role allows users to run charges, view and search activity, invoices, customers and catalog items, but limits their access to proprietary dashboard activity, like total sales YTD or sales by month, and does not allow them to process voids/refunds.
- Reporting: Perfect for sharing with your accountant or bookkeeper, the reporting role provides a way to share important financial data.
- Sales Only: The sales only role allows users to run transactions, view/edit customers, and add new payment methods; however, these users cannot run refunds/voids.
Sales With Refund: The sales with refund role allows users to run transactions, including voids and refunds, view/edit customers, and add new payment methods.
